Fast, funny, and completely chaotic—this rapid-fire drawing game turns wild ideas into hilarious masterpieces in just five seconds flat.

Gather Supplies

Grab some pencils, print out the prompts (if needed), and cut a few sheets of paper. I like to fold two pieces of printer paper and cut it in half a few times.

Call Out A Prompt & Draw!

Everyone has just 5 seconds to draw the prompt. When the countdown hits zero, pencils down—no exceptions!

Judge & Repeat

Each judge picks their favorite drawing of the round. Then rotate judges and keep playing. First to win 5 rounds is the drawing champ!

We played this game with our family of 9. Ages 5-42. College kids, middle school kids and on down to Kindergarten. It was a blast. We quickly found out 10 seconds was not enough time for the younger kiddos and adjusted accordingly. Everyone had a much better time with the new rules. Fun, quick set up and perfect amount of time playing for our family group.

We did it without the timer since we are playing with very young children. It would be extra helpful if this included resources for super basic beginner how to draw ideas. We kinda forgot they are too little to draw much at all yet, let alone draw specific prompts 😅 (still turned out fun tho)
