COOKIE CUTTER GARLAND
GATHER SUPPLIES
Grab some cardboard, your favorite holiday cookie cutters, scissors, string or ribbon, and whatever decorating supplies you have on hand.
TRACE & DECORATE
Use the cookie cutters to trace festive shapes onto the cardboard. Cut them out, then add color, sparkle, patterns, or anything else that makes them feel special.
STRING YOUR GARLAND
Make a small hole in each shape and string them together. Hang your finished garland on the mantel, tree, stair railing, or anywhere that could use a little holiday cheer.
MAKE IT YOUR OWN
There’s no wrong way to decorate your garland! Keep the cardboard natural for a cozy, homemade look, or break out the markers, paint, pom-poms, glitter, stickers, or whatever you already have in the craft drawer.
Try mixing different cookie cutter shapes, adding everyone’s names, or making one new shape for each person in the family.
