How to Get Started
Pick a Simple Project

Roll, Shape & Create
Use your hands or simple tools to mold your clay. Try textures, stamps, or layered shapes to make each piece your own.
Dry & Decorate
Let your pottery air dry completely. Once dry, decorate with paint, markers, or sealant to finish your creations!
What You'll Need
You don't need much to get started! Make sure you grab these supplies when you had to the store.
Air-dry Clay
Air-dry clay is easy to use, kid-friendly, and hardens on its own—no oven or kiln needed.
Water
You'll need a bowl of water to help sculpt and smooth the clay.
Sculpting Tools
Easily sculpt your creations with this set of tools. You can also use disposable utensils, chopsticks, or anything else you have on hand at home!
Acrylic Paint
Acrylic paint works best on air dry clay.
