How It Works
1. Capture Close-Ups
Use your phone’s zoom to snap extreme close-up photos of everyday items around the house. For each one, take a second wide-angle photo to reveal the answer later.
2. Guess the Items
Gather together and take turns showing your photos. Can anyone guess what’s in the picture? Offer clues if needed, but try to stump your family!
3. Score Points
Award 1 point for each correct guess and 2 points if your photo stumps everyone. Tally up the points to see who wins!
Think Outside The Box
Look for objects with interesting textures, colors, or shapes that may not be immediately recognizable up close, adding an extra layer of challenge to the game.
Alternative Rules
Put a twist on the game!
Categories
Introduce fun categories like "kitchen items," "nature," or "things that are yellow."
Set A Timer
Set a timer to make those guesses fast and fun!
Make A Sound
Make a sound or noise that relates to the item while showing the photo as the "clue."
Find & Seek
Keep the fun rolling by sending everyone on a hunt for the "item" around the house!
💬 Conversation Starters
"Whose picture was the most challenging?"
"Did any object look completely different up close?"
"If you could shrink to the size of an ant, what everyday item would you explore?"
